Philly U. expands

    Phiadelphia University announced today plans to expand its curriculum and its campus. Building constrcution will beging in the spring, and students will have a new major to consider come fall.

     

    The Associated Press reports the university will create the College of Design, Engineering and Commerce in time for the Fall 2011 semester, inviting students to explore all three disciplines.

    A shiny new 39,000-square-foot building will house the major, and Rondald Kander, director or James Madison University’s engineering school, will serve as the dean.
