Philly ad agency scores Super Bowl spot

This year’s Super Bowl won’t feature the Eagles, but a local ad agency believes it will make history during the 3rd quarter: as the first Philadelphia agency to create a Super Bowl ad.

The Century 21 real estate ad, which can be viewed online here, features Donald Trump, Olympic speed-skater Apolo Ohno, and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.Steve Red, the president of Red Tettemer and Partners, said the ad is entertaining and he’s proud of it.”We describe their agents as smarter, bolder and faster,” said Red.  “So the commercial for the Super Bowl comes out of that thinking, we just amped it up 100 times because it’s the biggest stage there is for advertising.”Red said the stakes in this game are huge — and he’s not talking about the Giants or the Patriots.”There are as many eyeballs on this game as there are in the advertising world,” said Red.Red said Century 21 is an iconic brand that will fit in well with the beer and car companies that populate the other Super Bowl ads.
