A 67-year-old man died in a fire early this morning in the Elan of Huntington Hills neighborhood in Newark.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked the fire that killed the man and injured a woman.

The fire started just after 5 a.m. Monday at the home on S. Fawn Dr.  When they arrived, paramedics found a 66-year-old woman suffering from smoke inhalation. She was treated on the scene and taken to Christiana Hospital where she was listed in serious condition.
