A laughing bonanza in East Falls

On July 9th and 10th, the Old Academy will host its Third Annual One-Act Bonanza. The Players will entertain you with comedy and drama (mostly comedy!) as they present six one act plays.

The production includes The Sneeze, based on a story by Anton Chekhov and directed by Charlotte Higgins, The Offering written by Robert Cooper and directed by Polly Edelstein, Lots of Dots written and directed by Michelle Moscicki, Something Unspoken written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Loretta Lucy Miller, In The Jar written by Mark Harvey Levine and directed by Susan Triggiani, and Singing in the Shower written by Matt Mezzacappa and directed by Dale Mezzacappa.

The plays star members and friends of the Old Academy.

There will be only two performances of the One Act Bonanza: Saturday, July 9th at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 10th, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.  Parking is free.
