O’Donnell: I was W.H.’s main target

In a memorable campaign ad, Delaware senatorial candidate Christine O’Donnell affirmed she was not a witch. She does, however, say she was a target: of the White House.  An article on POLITICO details O’Donnell’s claims, made in an e-mail sent to supporters amid a call for donations to to give to ChristinePAC, a group that she says will “investigate and counter attack left wing groups,” in part by funding her travel across the country to “bring the battle to them.”

O’Donnell, a Republican backed by the tea party, defeated Mike Castle in the 2010 primary for the Delaware seat, but was ultimately defeated by Democrat Chris Coons in the general election.
