Philadelphia’s retail rents are hitting new highs and the market is strengthening even outside of Center City, according to a new report from commercial real estate firm CBRE, Suzette Parmley reports.

The Kensington Community Food Co-Op received a $350,000 city grant from Councilman Mark Squilla via the Street-era holdover Cultural Corridor Fund, Generocity reports. The grant cuts the fundraising gap for the co-op in half, making its opening seem ever-more likely.
