Obama’s fat lip
In case you missed Scott Simon’s report on Weekend Edition, Simon makes the case that President Obama’s new scar might give him some street cred among the likes of world leaders such as Kim Jong Il and Vladimir Putin.
Obama needed 12 stitches after taking an elbow to the face during a White House holiday basketball game on Friday.
The White House was initially timid to release the name of the player who roughed up the President, but last night said the elbow belonged to Reynaldo Decerega of the Congressional Hispanic Institute.
Decerega also released a comment calling Obama a good sport . . no harm, no foul.
