Non-trial resolution sought for woman charged in Kraft shootings

A status hearing is scheduled for March 1 as Yvonne Hiller awaits her fate on charges connected with the fatal shootings inside the Kraft factory on Roosevelt Boulevard in September 2010.

Hiller is charged with killing 36-year-old LaTonya Brown and 47-year-old Tanya Wilson, and injuring 39-year-old Bryant Dalton inside their offices. The shootings followed an argument Hiller had with coworkers when she accused them of spraying her with deer urine.

Hiller’s lawyer is seeking a non-trial resolution, and reports indicate one could be near. Lawyers for both sides are seeking an appropriate penalty for the mentally ill Hiller.
