Newark Police search for flasher

A naked or half naked man has been spotted several times roaming the streets of Newark since October.

Newark Police say they first got a report of a half-naked man jumping out of the bushes on Elkton Road near Veterans Lane on October 6.  He was described as about 30-years-old wearing a plaid shirt and no pants.  Later that month, a naked man was seen streaking on Apple Road near Elkton road.

The sightings continued into November with a report on Saturday the 26th of the man touching himself while following another man down West Park Place.  On Monday November 28, a woman reported to police that she saw a man walking on West Park Place with no clothes on.

Then on Thursday, police got their best description of the man from a woman who saw the half naked man walking in the area of Devon Drive.  The woman told police the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and no pants.  He’s described as between 25 and 28 years old, 6’2″ to 6’5″, weighing about 180 to 210 pounds.
