New Castle County Police search for Newark flasher

New Castle County Police are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself on two separate occasions in a residential area of Newark.

According to police, the first incident occurred on June 8 in the Todd Estates neighborhood. Witnesses observed the man allegedly performing what police called a “lewd act” on the unit block of Lynch Farm Drive.

On June 12, the man was spotted on the unit block of Mercer Drive in the Brookside neighborhood. A female witness told police she called 911 after she saw the man allegedly expose his genitals while walking in front of her home shortly before 7 p.m.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old male, approximately 150 to 180 pounds, 5’6’’ to 5’8’’ in height with short black hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, red gym shorts with a white stripe and flip-flops. He has also been seen wearing a white T-shirt, tan cargo pants and tan boots.
