New bridge connects Schuylkill Banks with Schuylkill River Park

After a long wait, it took less than 15 minutes for crews to hoist the metal span over the CSX tracks on Thursday, creating a new link for pedestrians and cyclists between the Schuylkill River Trail and Schuylkill River Park.

The project was funded as part of a larger federal TIGER I grant.
