Nearly 100 cyclists joined Bicycle Coalition holiday ride

Friday evening the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia held its first holiday-themed group ride.

The Bicycle Coalition estimates nearly 100 cyclists attended the ride, which led participants through some of South Philadelphia’s most festive, decorated streets and neighborhoods, including the 2700 block of South Colorado Street and the 2700 block of South Smedley Street. Cyclists decorated their bicycles and themselves with lights and holiday decorations.

The Bicycle Coalition has been leading monthly group rides since August, but this is the first time they held a holiday-themed ride. For information on future events, visit the Bicycle Coalition’s website here.
