Nanticoke dredging to start
Prep work for the dredging of the Nanticoke River is getting underway and could cause delays on Woodland Road near Seaford. Work will begin Monday to install a pair of steel casing pipes under the road. The pipes will be used to send dredge spoils from the river and return water back to the Nanticoke. The work is part of a $1.8 million dredging project which will start later this winter.
