Mentoring summit in Dover

The second annual “Mentoring Works” summit is going on at the Sheraton Hotel in Dover.

The summit goal is to encourage mentoring as a way for school students to succeed.  It’s all part of National Mentoring month.  First Lady Carla Markell will speak at a luncheon.  She has made volunteerism a big part of the Markell administration’s goals.  If you want to learn more about “Connecting Generations“, which his sponsoring the event and get information on student scholarships that might be available you can visit their website.  Just click on the highlighted area above.
