Markell honors mental health court effort
Governor Markell will present the Team Excellence Award to members of the Mental Health Court Team at Superior Court in New Castle County.
The award comes after the group developed the state’s first felony mental health court. Markell’s staff say the effort saved the state nearly $90,000 and helped identify new treatment, case management, and mental health services for the program’s participants.
