Man struck by SEPTA train in East Falls IDd as 44-year-old from Holmesburg
Police identified the man struck by a SEPTA regional-rail train in East Falls on Monday as a 44-year-old from the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia.
They did not, however, release his name as the incident, which occurred just after 6 a.m. between the crossings at Indian Queen and Scotts Lanes, has been deemed a suicide.
Monday morning’s incident marks at least the third similar suicide along the Manayunk/Norristown Line tracks since April 2011.
