Local streams stocked for the beginning of trout season

In just a few days, Delaware’s trout season will be underway.

The Division of Fish and Wildlife says New Castle County streams have been stocked with thousands of trout.  Fishing license dealers have also been supplied with the 2011 Delaware Fishing Guide.  It has all of the information about license- and trout-stamp requirements, and it pays tribute to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife.  The guide is also available online – CLICK HERE.

New Castle County trout season opens this weekend.
