Jersey girls go ‘Hillbilly Handfishin’

Ever caught a catfish with just your bare hands? Me neither.

It’s actually only legal in 17 states. It’s illegal in New Jersey, but a couple of South Jersey girls have stepped up to see if they have what it takes to go ‘noodling’ on an upcoming episode of Animal Planet’s Hillbilly Handfishin’.

The Daily Journal reports that the “show features contestants from across the country who visit Oklahoma with the sole purpose of catching a catfish using only their bare hands or feet.”

The episode featuring Millville residents Krystyna Miletta and Connie Norcross airs Tuesday on Animal Planet at 8 p.m.
