A brewing tank was installed into the Iron Hill Brewery location on Sunday morning. Iron Hill says when the entire brewing system is complete it will be capable of producing 1,500 barrels of beer per year. The company is based out of Wilmington, Delaware and the Chestnut Hill location will be its first in the city of Philadelphia. Iron Hill is scheduled to open in January.

Hiring and training is being handled at Iron Hill’s North Wales and Media restaurants. The Chestnut Hill restaurant is expected to employ between 80-100 full and part-time employees.
