Inauguration Day in Dover

Delaware Governor Jack Markell takes the oath of office to start his second term.  Rain in the forecast has pushed the inauguration ceremony indoors.  The Governor is traditionally sworn in along the Green in front of Legislative Hall, but Governor Markell and Lieutenant Governor Matt Denn will instead take the oath at Central Middle School in Dover.  The inauguration ceremony is open to the public and the school’s doors will open one hour before the 11 a.m. ceremony starts.
