In Lancaster, Democrats call for Romney’s tax returns

About 15 people gathered outside a post office in Lancaster, hoisting ‘Obama-Biden’ signs and calling for Mitt Romney to make public his tax returns.Lancaster Democrats, including the city’s mayor, say they want to know how much Romney has made over the past 20 years, and how much he’s paid in taxes.

It’s a cue they took from President Obama’s recent request that Romney disclose his returns.  President Obama has released his 2011 tax returns, as well as those going back to the year 2000.Romney has released his 2010 returns. Last week his campaign announced Romney is seeking an extension for 2011, and that he’ll file his taxes sometime before the general election.
