Hunter Biden leaves Navy after drug test

Two people familiar with the discharge of Vice President Joe Biden’s youngest son from the Navy say he tested positive for cocaine.

In a statement released by his attorney, Hunter Biden doesn’t refer to the reason he received an administrative discharge from the Navy earlier this year.

He says he respects the Navy’s decision and is moving forward with his family’s support.

Two people familiar with Biden’s discharge confirmed the failed drug test to The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to be named.
