Holiday display sends sobering message
The annual DUI Victim Tree is being set up today at the Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover.
A green light will be lit on the tree for every DUI related injury between Thanksgiving and and New Year’s Eve. A red light will be turned on for every DUI related death during the holiday season. It’s part of the 12th Annual Safe Family Holiday campaign. Last year, four people were killed in alcohol related crashes and 49 people were injured during the holiday season.
