Haiti Soiree

    Beginning tomorrow, the African-American Museum of Philadelphia will host a series of events to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti.

     

    The Haitian Earthquake Commemorative Soiree is scheduled for tomorrow (snow date Jan. 15) to honor those who died in and survived the Haitian earthquake of Jan. 12, 2010.

    The Haitian Coalition of Philadelphia, Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia, Haitian Clergy, Stop Hunger Now, Coalition of Young Christians of Pennsylvania, Elite Rescue, Recovery, and Rebuilding and other organizations will team up with the museum to share their Haiti relief efforts and seek more support.
