Grant Avenue Giant to open July 20
Wednesday, July 20 is opening day for the Giant supermarket on Grant Avenue near Bluegrass Road,
The Carlisle, Pa. – base company has been building its 74,000-sqaure-foot store since last year at the at $40 million shopping center, which also includes an LA Fitness and a Five Guys. The original expected completion date was in April.
The Giant will be open 24 hours a day, and includes a pharmacy and gas pumps. The store — the first in Philadelphia — will employ 275 people.
