It’s going to be a pleasant weekend at the Jersey Shore.

After an unsettled Friday with periods of showers and thunderstorms, most of the weekend is shaping up to feature mostly sunny skies.

A cold front has moved offshore, and drier air is filtering into the region courtesy of a northwest flow. Any remaining clouds Saturday morning should dissipate into the afternoon hours.

High temperatures will reach the middle 80s, and northwest winds will be blowing to around eight miles per hour. Mostly clear skies are on tap for Saturday night, with low temperatures dropping to around 70 degrees.

While humidity will drop through Saturday, conditions are looking even more comfortable on Sunday. Under bright sunshine, temperatures will top out in the lower 80s, and a sea breeze is possible during the afternoon.

There’s a low risk of rip current development on Saturday.
