GBC commencement
It has become known as the unofficial kickoff of Delaware’s college graduation season. The diplomas will be handed out tonight in Pike Creek.
Goldey Beacom College will hold its commencement ceremonies tonight, with Delaware State Chamber of Commerce President James Wolfe delivering the commencement address. Wolfe also previously managed the Chrysler assembly plant in Newark. Gates at the campus on Limestone Road open at 2:30. Guests are asked to be seated by 3:15 p.m. GBC is the first of Delaware’s colleges and universities to hold its graduation ceremonies each spring.
