‘For Women Who Grieve’ Meets Feb. 12
For most women, the loss of a spouse or loved one is intensely personal and overwhelming. Achieving balance and independence is a constant struggle. For Women Who Grieve, facilitated by Barbara A. Penny, a local attorney and advocate who lost her husband to cancer 13 years ago, will provide emotional support and the tools to move forward. Additionally, Barbara will provide the opportunity for participants to talk openly in an intimate setting about life after this life-altering event. For more information or to register, call 215-260-1268. The group meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Women’s Center at Chestnut Hill Hospital, 8811 Germantown Avenue, 1:45-2:45 p.m.
