First signs of spring in New Jersey [Photos]

The best thing about a mild winter is that spring gets an early start. Flowers are already appearing in gardens throughout New Jersey this March.

We went looking around the Princeton-area to see if any flowers could be found. Sure enough a few colorful varieties are already making appearance at two popular flower gardens in Mercer County.

Both Sayen Gardens in Hamilton and Prospect Gardens in Princeton both show plants breaking through the surface and in a few cases producing flowers. Enjoy these photos that show just how beautiful the early Spring can look.
