Delaware State Police have charged a Rehoboth man in the death of one of his infant twin sons.

Troopers say about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, 21-year-old Sidney Davis III called 911, saying his 3-month-old son Zhaden Davis was not breathing. Police say the infant was flown to Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington.

The baby died on Sunday. Police say the chief medical examiner ruled the cause and manner of death to be homicide due to head trauma.

Troopers say their investigation showed that Sidney Davis was caring for Zhaden and his twin brother when Davis shook the child in an effort to quiet him. The other twin was not injured.
