Farewell Summer 2015, gone too soon
A Delaware beach town bids adieu to summer with its 30th annual jazz funeral on the boardwalk.

Funeral services were held for Summer 2015 on Monday at the Bethany Beach boardwalk. A dixieland jazz band led the funeral procession along the boardwalk on Labor Day.
Summer 2015 was born earlier than many of its older siblings, entering the world on Memorial Day, May 25. Summer lived 105 days, before expiring on Monday, September 8. Summer 2015 brought warm temperatures and beautiful beach days. From Fourth of July fireworks to quiet sunsets by the water, Summer 2015 brought lots of joy to all its loved ones.
In lieu of flowers, mourners were asked to continue visiting Delaware’s beach communities in honor of Summer 2015’s surviving loved ones, including Fall 2015.
