Famed discrimination attorney will represent Atlantic City cocktail servers
A judge has ruled celebrity discrimination and sexual harassment attorney Gloria Allred can represent the Atlantic City cocktail servers suing Resorts Casino Hotel.
Female servers filed suit in March claiming they’d been fired because they don’t look as good in Resorts’ new ’20s-themed uniforms as younger servers do.
A superior court judge ruled yesterday Allred can be on the servers’ legal team. The casino sought to remove her because she’s not licensed to practice law in New Jersey, the Associated Press reports. Allred will be allowed to participate alongside an attorney who is licensed to practice in the state.
