Elementary school students suspended for Facebook photos

Prince Hall Elementary School has suspended 17 students after they posted photos of themselves in the school bathroom on Facebook.

When the school had a dress down day last week, 15 girls and two boys reportedly ditched a school sustainability project and had a mock fashion show in the bathroom of the Northwest Philadelphia school, NBC10 reports.

They then posted the photos on Facebook. Principal Sharon Patton used the suspension as a lesson for the fifth graders, explaining the dangers of posting photos online. The students will lose class trip and school dance privileges if they break the rules again.
