Education update for state lawmakers
State lawmakers will hear from state Secretary of Education Lillian Lowery today in Legislative Hall.
Lowery will update lawmakers on a number of education issues including the state’s implementation of Race to the Top. She’ll speak before members of both the Senate and House education committees at 2:30 this afternoon in the State House chamber.
