The storm will start as rain this afternoon, then gradually mix in with snow by evening before tapering off after midnight. NWS warns that roads and walkways will be covered with wet snow. Forecasters say there is the potential for isolated power outages and dangerous freezing of standing water or slush on Friday morning.
