Dog of the Week: Raquel [with video]

Raquel (A14577591) is an adorable compact 30 lb. terrier mix who’s as gentle as can be and who loves attention. She is very easy to walk on a leash and loves, loves, LOVES to be with people.

She has quite the wiggle butt and will stand and shake it until she gets some scratches and attention. Raquel is quite a star! Currently, she knows how to sit, lay down, give paw, and gimme 10. Her Pen Pal is teaching her how to stay, jump through hoops and save the world!

You can see a video of Raquel in action below.

Raquel can be laid back, but she also likes to expend her energy on jogs and long walks. Tug is one of her favorite games and she likes to play ball, too. She likes car rides, often chilling out in the back of the car or looking out at the scenery. This pup has a flexible personality and she is down for anything!

Raquel did very well with her dog meets during her evaluation and didn’t even notice the cats during her cat test, so could probably live with cats, as well. Raquel is a gorgeous and playful little girl who would love someone to swoop in and bring her home.
