Dem. mayoral candidates make their pitch to East Falls residents
A week and a day before voters decide which Democratic mayoral candidate to send on to the general election, five of them visited Monday night’s East Falls Community Council meeting to explain why they think they should be the one.
It was more of a forum than debate with each candidate (except Milton Street) individually chatting up the crowd of roughly 100 people at East Falls Presbyterian Church.
NewsWorks‘ Northwest Philadelphia team covered the event.
Each of the candidates had three minutes to share their campaign platforms, and then members of the East Falls Community Council were allowed to ask questions.
