Delaware woman abducted; later freed

Wilmington Police are still searching for a man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend Tuesday morning.

Police say 32-year-old Gabino Pantoja kidnapped his ex-girlfriend in Wilmington this morning.  Family members reported the abduction of 25-year-old Paulina Alameda after they saw Pantoja forcing the woman into his minivan.  

Police are now searching for the vehicle described as a dark blue Ford Windstar, with Maryland plates reading 9AD1571.

Late Tuesday afternoon police report the woman was freed in Philadelphia.  Pantoja gave Alameda the car and she returned home, uninjured. His whereabouts is unknown.  He is also wanted on other unrelated charges.
