Delaware teen caught with almost $36,000 worth of heroin

A Wilmington teen was busted by police for trying to sell thousands of dollars worth of heroin.

Wilmington police raided the 16-year-old’s home in the Riverside area of the city on Tuesday and found more than 3,500 bags of heroin, a mask and a pellet gun. The street value is estimated at nearly $36,000.

The teen has been charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier four quantity.
