Delaware State Police search for armed robber
Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery at Valero Gas Station on McKennans Church Road in Wilmington.
The incident happened at 11:15 p.m. Sunday and it’s unclear if there’s any surveillance video at this time.
Detectives are now searching for an Asian male, 5’05”-5’08” tall, 150-160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black shoes, black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. According to police, the suspect, who was armed with a knife, demanded money from a 21-year old male clerk at the store’s cash register. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect then fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
The Delaware State Police are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 6.
