Delaware U.S. Senator Chris Coons believes going past the current deadline in the nuclear talks is a good thing.

Coons came to WHYY’s Wilmington’s studios to outline what he says are the things he’s looking for in the treaty negotiations taking place in Vienna.  He emphasized that the U.S. may have to walk away if the conditions aren’t met.

Coons sat down with Mark Eichmann to talk about the conditions for inspections, the conditions for lifting sanctions and the campaign played out through advertising asking that he vote “no” on any treaty resolution.
