Delaware police hope surveillance photo will help in stolen car case

Delaware State Troopers now hope surveillance pictures could help them nab the person who stole a car from a Newark convenience store’s parking lot. Investigators are also calling on the public to take a close look at the photographs in order to identify the female suspect.

On May 29th police say a 7-Eleven customer left his 2008 Pontiac G6 running, unlocked and unattended before entering the store located at 100 Four Seasons Parkway. Moments later, the customer returned to the parking lot to find his vehicle missing. According to police an unknown patron seen at the store earlier is the person who took the vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be 18-25 years old; approximately 5’3″ tall with an average build. Anyone with information about the woman in the picture can call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, or submit tips via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com.
