Delaware man caught dealing child pornography
The Delaware Child Predator Task Force recently hit the ground running in Laurel, where investigators arrested a man for distributing child pornography.
48 year-old Angelo F. Perri, was arrested Thursday after multiple files of child pornography were found in his possession. One video included a young girl between the ages of 6 and 8 engaged in a sex act with an adult male. As a result Perri was charged with 11 counts of dealing in child pornography.
“It’s a sad fact that every week the investigations conducted by our Child Predator Task Force uncover images and videos that record unspeakable crimes against kids,” said Attorney General Beau Biden.
According to the Attorney General there’s still more work to do in capturing those who violate the law.
“We’ll continue to aggressively go after those who create, possess, and distribute child pornography to hold offenders accountable and reduce the threats to our children,” added Biden.
Delaware’s Task Force was led to Perri thanks to a referral from the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, after officials there linked the online distribution of child pornography to the State of Delaware. From there warrants were secured to search a Laurel residence in the 12000 block of Whitesell Road.
Perri and another person at the home were taken in after police seized a computer and digital evidence. Now Perri is behind bars at the Sussex Correctional Institution with cash bail set at $660,000.
