Delaware gets high ranking as a state “friendly” for those trying to quit smoking

The American Lung Association has named Delaware among the five states that are friendliest to people who are trying to kick the habit of smoking.

Maine, Wyoming, Oklahoma and North Dakota are also at the top of the list.  Neighboring Maryland and New Jersey are listed among the least quit-friendly states, along with Georgia, Louisiana and Alabama.  The study looks at the states and their programs that assist citizens in smoking cessation programs, coverage offered for such programs, and other issues.  CLICK HERE for more on the study.
