Delaware gas prices reflect national trend up

With a barrel of crude oil now over $90 a barrel Delaware gas prices a reflecting the nation trend: upwards.

The average price of a gallon of gas is $3.10, which is 3 cents over the national average.  Delaware is doing a little better than Pa., which reports gas in the Philadelphia suburban region at $3.17.  A gallon of gas in New Jersey is #2.99.  Maryland prices are three cents lower than the national average.

Prices have been rising steadily over the last month.  Usually at this time of year prices are going down during the winter.  It has prompted some to predict gas prices this summer closing in on $3.75 a gallon.
