Delaware gas prices on the way up after four weeks of declines

Prices at the pumps in Delaware are up by about eight cents a gallon from a week ago.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says a gallon of gas sells for an average of $3.37 at the beginning of the week.  Crude oil prices fluctuated during the past few days in response to a variety of economic factors.  According to AAA Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs Specialist Jana Tidwell, “some analysts suggest gas prices may rise gradually over  the next week or two.”  Some projections indicate the price of gas may rise as much as ten-cents by the end of the month.  Delaware gas prices peaked at nearly $4.00 per gallon in May.  The average price  is 56-cents higher than a year ago.
