Delaware Community Foundation Fund for Women invites grant applications

More than $125-thousand in grants will be distributed among nonprofit organizations that apply through the Delaware Community Foundation Fund for Women 2012 grants program.

Today, one of two grant application assistance workshops will take place.  It is being held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Duncan Center, lower level, 500 West Loockerman Street, Dover.  Past grant awards have supported programs such as prenatal care, housing, abuse counseling, legal assistance, medical care, scholarship programs, job training and other initiatives.  Eliglble programs shoudl relate “to the education of girls and women in health, wellness and life skills that lead to future economic self-sufficiency.”  You can find out more by visiting http://www.delcf.org/ffw.  Applications are due by January 27th, 2012.
