Christmas at Hagley Family Program: Winter Animals 

Children can make walnut Christmas mice and reindeer footprints, and enjoy story time. The featured choirs include Sanford School, Red Lion Christian Academy, Tatnall School, and Sunday Breakfast Mission. The holiday display and family activities are included in the cost of admission and are free for members. Children fourteen and under have free admission during the month of December and on January 1.  Hagley Museum and Library, December 10th and 11th.

A Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas featuring the Eric Mintel Quartet

The acclaimed Eric Mintel Jazz Quartet, a hit at The Grand last year, returns, this time joined by The JazzChords of Calloway to bring all those familiar tunes – “Christmas Time Is Here,” “Skating” and “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” – to the stage of the baby grand. The talented children’s chorus will also enact select scenes from the popular TV special. Quickly becoming a holiday tradition at The Grand! The Baby Grand, December 11th, 1 and 4 P.M. 

 

 

Fezziwig’s Christmas Party featuring the Ardensingers

This fun presentation will focus on a Dickens’ type Christmas party where you, our guests, will enjoy a variety of holiday music, both Victorian and modern. And, in traditional festive spirit, the Ardensingers will feature a few selections from the Messiah, along with other holiday-related skits and entertainment.  Smyrna Opera House, December 11th, 2 P.M.

 

 

The Possums’ Christmas Hit Parade

Join us for our latest holiday offering as we present the twenty favorite Christmas songs, as voted on by PPP patrons, members and friends over the past year. The show is patterned loosely around the 1950’s TV show Your Hit Parade.  The show features a countdown beginning with the 20th most favorite Christmas song and ending with the PPP number one Christmas song! Possum Hall, December 9th and 10th 8 P.M. and December 11th 2 P.M.
