The suspect is described as a 5’10” black male with a medium build and goatee, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark knit cap, glasses, a black coat, and black gloves at the time of the robbery.

Credit card fraud

In the second instance, police are looking for a man and woman who are wanted in connection to a Society Hill fraud and may live within the 5th Police District, which patrols Roxborough and Manayunk.

Between Feb. 6, 2013, and Feb. 8, 2013, a victim, who was unidentified by police, observed that numerous unauthorized purchases totaling $1,000 were made against her charge card.

The victim then realized she was a victim of “skimming” due to the fact that the compromised account card was still in her possession. After an investigation by police, two unknown individuals were captured on surveillance video making purchases against the complainant’s account on Feb. 6 at a Game Stop located at 505 South Street.

The first suspect is described as a stocky black male with dark complexion, 40 to 50 years-of-age, wearing at the time of the incident a gray knit ski cap, red style polo shirt, dark pants, and a dark-colored “varsity” style jacket with leather-like sleeves, bearing white letters that say “R W D C” on the back with an “R” on the left front.

The second suspect is described as a thin, black female with medium brown complexion, 20 years of age, who wore a dark-colored 3/4 length coat, light colored pants and tan calf-length boots.

Anyone with information about the fraud or these suspects is asked to call 911, the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353, or the PPD’s tips line at 215-686-8477 (TIPS). Tips can also be texted to PPD TIP (773847) or submitted via the department’s website, www.phillypolice.com.
