Crash closes Route 35 southbound just north of Manasquan River bridge

A portion of Route 35 is closed in Brielle following a crash late this morning, authorities said.
The southbound lanes are closed south of Old Bridge Road due to the crash and a downed traffic signal, according to 511nj.org.
The crash involves multiple vehicles, according to emergency radio transmissions.
As of 10:45 a.m., the state Department of Transportation reports building delays.
